Program
The program runs three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
- Morning Group: 9:00am – 11:30am
- Afternoon Group: 12:00pm – 2:30pm
Curriculum
Sensorial Development
The purpose is to refine and expand the child’s senses in order to better server the individual development of the child.
Language Art
The children will be introduced to a variety of language activities to establish an interest in literacy. The teacher follows a phonetic approach to teaching a child how to read and write
Mathematic
During a series of fascinating activities, the children will study numbers, quantities, arrangements, placevalue and the fours operations
Culture
Culture activities such as French, music and geography are regular parts of our school’s environment.
Practical Life Activities
The children will build strong foundational skills and will create habits that will enable them to be responsible for themselves, their families and community. The children who learn early in life to believe in their own abilities and to take pride in their independence and self-discipline will be well-equipped for lifelong success
Science
Science is continuous wondering, finding out, and knowing. It is thinking, doing, and making the two go together. Children have abundant curiosity. Most are eager to explore, discover, learn, and create anew. At Jelly Bean Academy, we believe science education, like any other education, is at its best when you make it developmentally appropriate for a particular child’s growing abilities. It is our challenge to involve each child directly, actively, and immediately upon noting that child’s interest.
Art
The children are offered art activities to develop creativity and self-expression. They will also improve their skills such as cutting, pasting, coloring, and painting.
